We have enjoyed our time here. We have worked hard, relaxed, built things, made things, met some lovely people and grown in ourselves.

Our best friend began his new journey mid last year. We dearly miss him but 14 years is an awful long time for a big dog.

We have learnt a lot about the wildlife and flora of the area. Got some great photos and laughs.

During this time we have also learnt more about dealing with our new way of life. Found out the best ways to deal with our pain. Learnt what we can and can't do. Found that the medical system in Queensland is beyond atrocious.

We have made some lovely friends who wil be friends for life.

Yes it is now time for us to move on. We cannot continue living this lifestyle in this situation. We need to make things easier for us physically. We are unable to manage that here. Our family is not close and we have grandchildren we do not see. Time to change that also.

Just another turn on the merry go round that is life. We are looking forward to this new stage. Not looking forward to the searching for somewhere to live or the moving part.

We will stay in touch with our friends and hope that they will find there way to visit now and then.

Now to find a new caretaker for this beautiful haven.

just out our window, after the rain, this is a bloodwood tree.

Life

We have been very busy trying to get things the way we want them. To make our life comfortable and relatively easy. Then we would have the time for myself to write and for wombat to play with and make the things he sees.

This has been hindered by not good health, myself rolling our car and the black dog days.

We are slowly getting there.

A great help would be some more muscle to give a hand with the heavier things but this takes money which does not grow on trees.

We tried the barter system but what we offered was not what people wanted.

But as is said time is the solution to lots of things. It just means that it is taking us longer and has probably cost us a lot more money.

It was a good decision to make this move. The 100 acres is fairly peaceful and very restorative for us.

We don't have to go to town every day and even though we cannot make a living here we are enjoying the peace.

I hope to get back to the writing soon.

If we could bottle the peace and mainly good feelings we have from living here we would and share with the rest of the world.

Develop working solar, wind options for the DIY.

Recycle, Reuse.

Enjoy.
